Card Balance Service Charges on Offer by SBI

If the amount paid towards dues on the Credit Card is less than the Total Amount Due, Service Charges shall be levied on such outstanding (including but not limited to the EMI as above), as per the interest rate applicable and communicated in the Most Important Terms & Conditions (MITC) and Cardholder Terms & Conditions. SBI Card Offers for Flipkart

Any payment or refund made to the Credit Card Account that exceeds the EMI amount will not be considered as a payment towards the Merchant EMI and will not result in closure of this facility. If you wish to pre-close the Merchant EMI, you can do so by contacting SBI Card helpline at 39 02 02 02 (prefix STD code of your city while calling from mobile) or 1860 180 1290 (if calling from MTNL and BSNL lines). The IVR & Emergency Services are available round-the-clock, while Customer Service representatives are available Monday to Saturday between 8am to 8pm. SBICPSL reserves the right to change the pre-payment charges with prior notice, which will be applicable to cardholders. Upon pre-closure of Merchant EMI for any reason, all outstanding amounts including principal outstanding, pre-closure charges, and interest for the actual number of days until closure (from last billing date till date of closure) will be debited from your Credit Card account. In case of partial refunds issued by merchants for a merchant EMI transaction, previously billed interest on the card will not be reversed.

Non-payment leads to pre-closure of account

If the minimum amount due is not paid for three consecutive months, the Merchant EMI will be closed and any remaining principal, interest until closure, and pre-closure charges will be charged to the Credit Card account in the next monthly statement. SBICPSL has the right to request immediate repayment of these outstanding amounts if there is a card closure leading to pre-closure.

If the Credit Card is closed before all installments are charged, the remaining amount and any relevant fees will be deducted from the Credit Card account as a single payment. SBICPSL has the right to request immediate repayment of this consolidated outstanding amount.

SBI Card Offers for Flipkart: Request-based Pre-closure

The SBI Cardholder can make request for pre-closure of EMI plan by calling the SBI Card helpline at 39 02 02 02 (Prefix STD code of your city while calling from mobile) or 1860 180 1290 (if calling from MTNL and BSNL lines). IVR & Emergency Services are available 24 hours and Customer Service representatives are available from Monday to Saturday between 8am to 8pm. On receipt of this request, the outstanding principal amount is moved back to SBI Cardholders retail balance and a preclosure fee of 3% shall be levied on the same. The outstanding principle amount is calculated basis reducing interest rate. At the time of preclosure of EMI Plan, if the SBI Cardholders account is revolving, then the above mentioned amount (Principal amount + Preclosure fee) will be added to the revolving balance and will attract standard credit card interest charges.
